Everything you might be wondering — so you can arrive feeling held and ready.
Every session is tailored to you. We begin with a gentle intake — a chance to land and share where you are. From there we move into conscious connected breathwork woven with somatic awareness, working gently with your nervous system to help it release what it no longer needs to hold. You'll be held, guided and witnessed throughout. This is not a talking therapy — it's an experience of the body.
None at all. If you're brand new, the Foundational Somatics 1:1 is a gentle, accessible introduction. Otherwise, every session meets you exactly where you are — no "right" way to do it.
Wear something soft and comfortable you can fully relax in — layers are ideal, as the body can cool during deep rest. For in-person sessions everything you need is provided (mats, blankets, props, eye masks). You're welcome to bring water and anything that helps you feel safe and at home.
For online sessions, all you need is a quiet space where you won't be disturbed, somewhere to lie down, and a willingness to arrive.
Everyone is different. Many people feel deeply calm, lighter, and sleep beautifully that night. Sometimes emotion moves through during or after a session — that's a natural part of release. Lacy will make sure you feel grounded before you leave, and you're always welcome to reach out afterwards.
Yes. Lacy holds a Somatics certificate for C-PTSD and works in a trauma-informed, consent-led way. You are always in control — nothing is done to you, and you can pause or stop at any time. Group breathwork classes such as Sunday Breathwork are held in a safe, all-women container.
(General guidance — please confirm exact terms when you book.)
Yes — payment plans are available on packages and retreats. The 3-Session Package can be split, and the overnight retreat is secured with a £100 deposit followed by two further payments. Just ask and we'll find something that works for you.
Breathwork is powerful and deeply beneficial for most people — but because it actively shifts your physiology, there are some conditions where we adapt the practice or recommend speaking with your GP first.
None of these automatically mean breathwork isn't for you — often we simply soften the practice. A gentle Foundational Somatics or restorative session may be the perfect place to begin.
Siren Somatics offers wellbeing and nervous-system support; it is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. If you're unsure, please consult your GP before taking part.
Reach out any time — Lacy would love to help you find the right starting point.
